Ullr is a collaboration between Erikk McKenzie and musician/producer BHLB.
Around 1998 they used to meet up in a remote garage for experimental improvisation sessions. Between 2017-22, after twenty years of separate artistic pursuits, they both lived on the same farmyard and took up the improvisations in BHLB´s studio. The farmyard is called Ullershov, as it in pre-Christian times was a place of worship to the Norse god Ullr.
Ullr tracks have been played at Sound Supreme and Shut Down Radio hosted by Jay Scarlett, The Basic Soul Show hosted by Simon Harrison and was featured on the compilation Redd Repparfjord (Studio Vann 2022).
