Since my studies in dance and choreography (BA) at School for New Dance Development in Amsterdam 2008, I have been working as a freelance performer, choreographer and musician/composer.

Musically I am inspired by the overlapping of acoustic and electronic sources, the combination of programming and live percussion, and the associational potential of sound.

My work with movement and physicality is inspired by aikido, contact improvisation and the implementation of dance and movement in social and community context. As a performer I have toured with Company B Valiente, Unge Viken Teater, Wee Company amongst others, as well as teaching children, youth and professionals, and the recent years I have also been dancing with refugees through projects like Lonely Riders and Småfolk. I have choreographed and produced work for schools, elderly homes, clubs and theatres, and the recent years I have produced local events through Mycelium.

I am fascinated by the body as an intersecting point between biology and society, between words, movement, character and spirit.
